Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, control panels, sensors, and automated machinery
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, transformers, circuit breakers, and motor control centers (MCCs)
- Troubleshoot electrical control systems and assist with PLC-related issues
- Support new equipment installations, machinery upgrades, and automation projects
- Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records using CMMS software
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automated equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of robotics, servo systems, industrial networking, and HMI programming
