About the role

The Industrial Automation Journeyman Electrician is responsible for maintaining and repairing complex electrical systems in industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical principles and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems in industrial settings
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using advanced diagnostic tools
• Install and commission new electrical equipment and systems
• Document work procedures and maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure safe and efficient project completion

Requirements

• Valid Texas Electrical License
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial automation systems
• Experience with PLCs and control systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
