About the role

This call for Expressions of Interest seeks talented First Nations scholars to join the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Level B (Education Focused) to support the teaching of the Indigenous health curriculum and support of Indigenous students in any of the Faculty’s disciplinary fields.

Responsibilities

• Support the teaching of the Indigenous health curriculum
• Engage with and support Indigenous students across the Faculty’s disciplines
• Be embedded in Schools / Departments and have strong links to the Gukwonderuk Unit
• Have a healthcare background

Requirements

• Only Indigenous Australians are eligible to apply due to the Special Measure Provision, Section 12 (1) of the Equal Opportunity Act 2011 (Vic)
• Strong links to the Gukwonderuk Unit
• Experience in engagement working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples

Pay

$123,138 - $146,228 pa Level B (plus 17% employer superannuation)
