Coordinator, Health Education

Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote, with flexibility to vary. Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

About the role

The Coordinator, Health Education will direct the Family Matters Program. They will work collaboratively with inpatient and outpatient staff, as well as with representatives of community agencies, to provide patient and family education related to childhood cancer and blood diseases and their treatment, including general health education aimed at minimizing the risk of negative health outcomes later in life.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-time professional experience in development and coordination of instructional programs and materials for health education
• Hospital-based, pediatric health education experience preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in health education or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Master of Science degree in public health/health education preferred
