Job Description Seeking an experienced Indiana medical malpractice attorney to join growing plaintiff’s practice. Prefer at least 5 years of experience practicing medical malpractice law in Indiana, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently manage cases from investigation through resolution. This is an opportunity for an experienced attorney to take over a significant volume of cases at various stages and be an integral part of a successful, respected medical malpractice practice team. Responsibilities The attorney will be involved in all aspects of plaintiff’s medical malpractice cases, including: Evaluating potential medical malpractice claims from the point of intakeReviewing and analyzing medical recordsWorking with medical experts and other consultantsPreparing and responding to discoveryDrafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and Submission to the Medical Review PanelTaking and defending depositionsCommunicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and medical providersNegotiating settlementsPreparing cases for mediation and trialManaging an assigned caseload and meeting case deadlines Requirements Full time, experienced attorney Education/Experience Indiana Bar admission required with 5 years of Indiana Medical Malpractice experience on either the plaintiff or defense side.
