About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Medical Malpractice Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex medical malpractice cases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage medical malpractice cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement
  • Conduct thorough investigations into alleged medical negligence incidents
  • Analyze medical records, consult with medical experts, and develop case strategies
  • Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Mentor junior attorneys and oversee case teams
  • Stay current with evolving medical malpractice laws and healthcare regulations

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar Association
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing medical malpractice law
  • Proven track record of successful case outcomes and substantial settlements/verdicts
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of care

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex medical and legal concepts to clients

Pay

$160,000 - $185,000 per year
