We are a respected litigation boutique based in White Plains, New York. The firm handles sophisticated personal injury and medical malpractice matters, as well as complex commercial litigation. We are seeking a skilled attorney to join our personal injury and medical malpractice practice.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Attorney with a strong track record of handling cases from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have substantial deposition and court appearance experience, along with medical malpractice expertise. Trial experience is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury and medical malpractice cases, including case evaluation, investigation, discovery, and settlement negotiations
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Appear in court for conferences, motions, and other proceedings
- Work closely with clients, medical experts, and support staff
- Contribute to trial preparation and, where applicable, trial presentation
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation
- Demonstrated medical malpractice experience (required)
- Substantial deposition experience (required)
- Court appearance experience (required)
- Admitted to practice in New York
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with the team
