Qualifications
1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, 3PL sales, or carrier sales (LTL, FTL, expedited, or air a plus)
Proven ability to prospect, close, and retain freight customers
Existing book of business preferred, but motivated builders are welcome
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and high personal accountability
Comfortable operating independently with minimal hand-holding
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and manage a portfolio of freight shipping customers
- Quote and book freight across LTL, FTL, expedited, and air modalities
- Build long-term customer relationships focused on retention and account growth
- Utilize ShipNova's TMS, Carrier Vetting Tools and AI tools to manage your business and shipment activity
- Coincoperate with ShipNova's operations team on shipment execution and issue resolution when necessary
- Represent ShipNova's brand and service standards in all customer, carrier and vendor interactions
