Inbound Supervisor 2nd Shift - W19

About the role

RJW Logistics Group is hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor position. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assign work assignments for all 2nd shift warehouse staffing, keeping in mind customer specifications, up to and including driver departure times to meet delivery schedules.
• Oversee the loading of inbound/outbound freight according to customer specifications.
• Supervise and communicate with Local, Regional, and OTR drivers, ensuring updates and workflow changes are communicated effectively.
• Review deliveries for poor packing and general conditions of materials, alerting relevant parties to any issues.
• Process shipment paperwork, including scanning BOL's, ensuring accuracy and verifying shipments against paperwork.
• Maintain and update the Tee Card board and TMW system, communicating daily work flow, issues, and customer concerns.
• Ensure adherence to AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines, and maintain proper accident reporting and handling.
• Manage and approve shift employee timesheets, monitor overtime hours, and perform building checks.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and manufacturer's equipment maintenance recommendations.
• Support warehouse employees in adhering to AIB guidelines and completing required checklists.
• Perform assigned tasks or other duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager or COO.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Dispatch experience and dock supervision experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software a plus.
• Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and Requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
