Inbound Receiving Supervisor Excellerate
About the role
The Inbound Supervisor plays a crucial role in the efficient movement and management of raw materials within the company. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of raw material movement, inventory, locations, quantities, tracking, and personnel.
- Track schedules with vendors and internal updates on incoming equipment/material.
- Train, coach, and mentor employees inside the receiving department.
- Ensure tracking of high-risk/long lead time items and quantities for procurement/production.
- Collect data and process all Non-Conforming Material with Quality Control.
- Coordinate the return of Non-Conforming Material items to vendors.
- Manage documents and projects as assigned.
- Resolve job material discrepancies and communicate resolution to job in a timely manner.
- Manage the requests of production orders to the appropriate personnel and communicate material discrepancies during kitting process.
- Plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items either from suppliers or production shops ensuring a smooth and consistent operation.
- Establish and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
- Drive departmental approach to elimination of waste and reduce operation expenses.
- Collaborate with managers and other departments to develop and modify material inventory processes and procedures.
- Provide input on supplier performance to materials / supply chain team leadership.
- Proactively manage the corrective action process by identifying and managing slow and obsolete inventory.
- Actively maintain 5S principles throughout work area.
- Ensure proper safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a related area such as Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Logistics.
Qualifications
Preferred: Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Logistics experience.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with ERP systems.

Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday depending on assigned shift. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
