Inbound Supervisor

We are immediately hiring an Inbound Supervisor in Rancho Cordova, CA for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Pay

Exempt / Salary paid twice per month. Annual salary: $75,000.00 based on experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site Key Performance Indications (KPIs).
• Work in collaboration with the customer in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress toward objectives, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize successes.
• Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes.
• Carry out performance evaluations of team members and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
• Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with all employees.
• Responsible for implementation of health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and behaviors, and adherence to company rules and policies.
• Provide appropriate orientation for employees and Lead Hands, giving them the information, technology, and materials necessary to perform their jobs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Zero to one (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• DOT Regulated: No.
