About the Role
The Installation Supervisor leads onsite automation installations, coordinates project teams, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional worksite.
- Lead daily onsite meetings covering targets, safety, priorities, and open issues.
- Coordinate engineers, project managers, installers, contractors, customers, and internal teams.
- Monitor milestones and escalate schedule concerns.
- Maintain safety logs, reports, issue lists, and meeting notes.
- Enforce safety procedures and required PPE use.
- Communicate customer, contractor, delay, and scope concerns with project leadership.
- Assist with tooling buy-off, runoffs, schedules, and site organization.
- Build productive partnerships with customers, contractors, and installation crews.
- Represent the company with strong communication and customer focus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years in control systems or mechanical engineering preferred.
- 2+ years in a technical, customer-focused field service role.
- Installation experience strongly desired; powertrain assembly is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to read schematics, controls documents, and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to address customer questions, concerns, and complaints effectively.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction and maintain required travel visas.
- Current driver's license and valid passport required.
- Willing to travel locally, domestically, and internationally.
- Approximately 70% at remote locations, including possible short-notice, weekend, or holiday travel.
- Self-directed and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Honest, ethical, and customer-focused professional conduct.
- Able to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, reach, use tools, and work in confined spaces.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Close vision, color vision, and depth perception required.
