Supervisor
Summary/Objective
A Supervisor of Maximus Global Services is responsible for overseeing and ensuring day-to-day operations. The Supervisor’s duties and responsibilities include preparing the operation, ensuring team members are prepared, maintaining security procedures, updating leads/coordinators, managing personnel, and communicating with management.
Essential Functions
- Plans and prepares the operation at least one day prior, adjusting with sufficient time for factors like wheelchair count, flight status, and personnel needs.
- Delivers plans and assignments to the team prior to start of operations.
- Prepares and ensures the operation daily report is complete by the end of the day.
- Ensures all employees follow security procedures for each entity, such as TSA, CBP, and any other airport where Maximus Global Services operates.
- Updates Leads/Coordinators and personnel on any irregularities/changes to operations.
- Performs weekly visits to airlines management to ensure service is delivered up to standards.
- Addresses any issues with personnel, operations, and clients.
- Updates weekly control and inventory reports of equipment, including wheelchairs.
- Ensures personnel training is current.
- Communicates to management any irregularities and/or operational requests.
- Delivers end-of-shift report to management with a full recap of the operation.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional airport environment. The use of a company vehicle is required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, seating, and driving. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 70 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work vary. Shifts could change at any time.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years’ experience in customer service at airport or similar entities
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Pass a background check and drug test
- Computer literacy in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Maintain a relationship with both employees and clients
- Supervisors must have a good working knowledge of management practices and principles
- The job requires critical thinking skills to quickly observe situations and respond appropriately
- Security Clearance (if applicable): Must be eligible for CBP seal and pass the criminal background check to obtain the airport ID.
