Inbound Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily inbound operations and leads a team in a fast-paced distribution environment. Key responsibilities include planning and assigning work, managing performance, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign work and work schedules
• Train and cross-train team members
• Interview and on-board new hires
• Manage performance and terminations
• Maintain quality and safety standards, improve productivity, and foster a culture of process improvement
• Prepare reports and logs as required
• Provide weekly data including productivity, safety, and housekeeping to management
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
• Participate in special projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent distribution/warehouse supervisory experience
• Voice to Pick System experience
• Inbound experience within receiving, bulk, or stocking
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
• Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence others
• Effective in a fast-paced, diverse team environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (e.g. Outlook, Excel and Word)

Qualifications

• Champion of People, Change Agent, and a deep understanding of the Inbound functions to master all processes

• Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and other relevant software
