Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation within the BSH guidelines necessary for receipt tracking, Goods Issue tracking, and accounting audits, and ensure all filing needs are met according to guidelines.
- Absolutely ensure all request and inquiries are answered in a timely manner.
- Aid in preparation and taking physical inventory.
- Maintain and distribute the daily Trailer report.
- Communicate any pertinent information to concerned parties including inside personnel, executive staff and BSH carriers.
- Aid in the training and motivation of new employees.
- Audit accuracy of system generated transactions to ensure they are completed and closed in a timely manner.
- Accumulate data for special requested reports.
- Point of contact for inbound drivers dropping trailers and outbound drivers picking up loads, record arrival time and ensure the loads are placed at the doors for scheduled appointment time.
- Ensure the Inbound and Outbound log is maintained, the trailer number is verified and the seal is intact, and verified on all loads.
- Ensure paperwork is securely kept until time for the load to be docked or picked up.
- Provide Yard Transportation with proper paperwork at the time of the scheduled delivery.
- Verify material to invoice, and assign gate to the chain paper work to be given to Material Handler.
- Inbound/Outbound specialist must verify if there are any discrepancies.
- Execute Good Receipts, once product has been put away, verification must be done to confirm status.
- Execute Goods Issue once driver has arrived and confirmed shipment to be picked up. Verification must be done to confirm trailer number and seal before posting.
- Ensure all related documents are attached to the chain and deliver all documents to Key User for review.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
- High-School Diploma – Required
- 0-2 Years of Experience (Administrative/data entry, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment) – Required
- 3-5 Years of Experience (Administrative/data entry, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment) – Preferred
- SAP experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Advanced use of excel utilizing pivot tables, charts, and data analysis
- Good language, mathematical, and reasoning skills
- Good decision-making skills
- Ability to handle demanding situations
- Ability to multi-task
- Attentive to details
- Ability to organize and file
- Ability to prioritize workload
- High-School Diploma – Required
