About the role

As Customer Service Associate – Inbound Operations, you will support inbound warehouse operations by coordinating incoming shipments, communicating with drivers, maintaining accurate trailer inventory, processing inbound shipment documentation, monitoring inbound deliveries, resolving shipment discrepancies, verifying orders, bills of lading, packing slips, and receiving records, updating data in Pinc and G-Sheet databases, assisting with yard audits, and supporting timely resolution of customer-related issues. You will contribute to accurate receiving, on-time receipt processing, inventory record accuracy, strong customer satisfaction, and efficient warehouse operations.

You will be part of the Warehouse / Logistics team, working closely with the Inbound Lead, Inbound Supervisor, Planner, Transportation, Procurement, and other internal warehouse teams to ensure efficient receipt and processing of goods. In this function, you will communicate across departments, maintain accurate records, resolve exceptions quickly, and support safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

This position is located in Fairburn, Georgia, and reports to the TMS Manager.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming shipments and communicate with drivers
• Maintain accurate trailer inventory
• Process inbound shipment documentation
• Monitor inbound deliveries and resolve shipment discrepancies
• Verify orders, bills of lading, packing slips, and receiving records
• Update data in Pinc and G-Sheet databases
• Assist with yard audits
• Support timely resolution of customer-related issues
• Ensure accurate receiving, on-time receipt processing, and inventory record accuracy
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient warehouse operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations (preferred)
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software (a plus)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes (preferred)
• English proficiency (required); bilingual skills (a plus)
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet operational deadlines
