About the Role

Cardinal Lane Senior Living is seeking a 3rd shift Caregiver to grow into a Medication Aide. Responsibilities

• Supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
• Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.
• Exhibits a positive customer service attitude as demonstrated by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrates consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work-related problems with the proper individuals.
• Communicates effectively, including careful listening, sensitivity to others’ thoughts and feelings, and giving thoughtful responses.
• Reports information timely and accurately to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains confidentiality of both resident and staff information.
• Presents with a neat, clean appearance.
• Participates in designated facility in-services.
• Helps new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience.
• Current CPR certification.
