Mission/Role Core Accountabilities
Aid the Inbound supervisor and logistics coordinator in executing the daily work plan.
Train all full-time employees to perform Inbound functions to maintain high standards of Inventory accuracy.
Work with the supervisor to assess Inbound associates' abilities and performance.
Train and develop temporary staff.
Assess performance and report to the supervisor.
Maintain morale and assist in motivating associates.
- Monitor and reconcile all footwear and accessories receipts in WMS each day.
- Reconcile SAP postings and research discrepancies, opening tickets as necessary.
- Monitor lost cartons and perform inventory adjustments.
- Maintain error tracking reports and record trends in putaway issues.
- Work with associates to reduce errors.
- Weigh and measure all new products received into the warehouse and apply the appropriate dimension model.
- Create new dimension models for products with new sizes and package numbers.
- Correct all issues with carton content, including different pack quantities, new package quantities, dimension issues, and pack factor issues.
- Assist in replenishment, full case, and cross dock picking, labeling, and reconciling.
- Collaborate with the returns quality coordinator on vendor compliance issues.
- Back up to all DC coordinators.
- Support company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide support to all warehouse functional areas as needed.
Requirements
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of distribution and/or warehouse operations.
- Problem-solving skills, including prioritization and task initiation.
- Attention to and awareness of ergonomic issues in the workplace.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- Demonstrated proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational and project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MARC, SAP, and Excel.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
- Computer skills: MS Word, Windows, Excel, SAP, and WMS.
- Physical tasks may include sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, reaching, using hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium-sized components, and lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
- Visual acuity to identify quality flaws and distinguish colors on small components.
- This position is not available in Colorado.
