About the role
This role is offered on an independent contractor basis. Total €100,000 OTE Package.
Responsibilities
- Drive the Global Accreditation Strategy: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive access strategies and site movement policies across all race events, harmonizing central Formula E standards with local host city and venue regulations.
- Oversee Accreditation Systems & Operations: Lead the setup and live management of physical and digital accreditation systems, overseeing system configuration, badge production, access rights control, and on-site Accreditation Centres in complex city-centre environments.
- Champion Stakeholder & Venue Access: Serve as the central point of contact for internal departments, global partners, teams, media, and local authorities, managing pass allocations, access privileges, and zone controls to ensure seamless site flow and perimeter security.
- Lead On-Site Production & Teams: Manage on-site accreditation staff, local agency support, and volunteer teams, driving setup, training, daily operations, and rapid issue resolution during high-pressure race weeks.
- Maintain Financial & Operational Integrity: Take ownership of the accreditation budget, handling vendor procurement, system hardware logistics, data protection/GDPR compliance, and post-event reporting to drive continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing accreditation, access control, or event operations for large-scale international sporting events, major entertainment tours, or mass-participation spectacles.
- Deep technical and operational knowledge of specialised accreditation software, badge printing technology, hardware logistics, and zone management, alongside a strong understanding of site security protocols.
- A proven manager adept at directing international vendors, temporary on-site teams, and functional budgets while staying organized under tight deadlines and fast-paced live event conditions.
- An exceptional communicator who builds strong working relationships across diverse internal teams, external security/government stakeholders, and city partners while thriving on global travel.
