About the role

This role is offered on an independent contractor basis with a total OTE package of €100,000, comprising a base salary of €50,000.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation & Pipeline Command: Own the local bottom line by achieving 100% of assigned revenue targets; identify and secure commercial opportunities outside the global partner ecosystem, including premium Race Suites, B2B ticketing bundles, and local sponsorship inventory; manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
  • Brand Amplification & Market Insight: Act as the conduit between Formula E’s Global Marketing team and the Austin market; ensure global campaigns resonate with American cultural nuances; serve as a high-profile brand ambassador at industry forums, ticket launches, and fan events; provide real-time market insights to shape digital and promotional strategies.
  • Strategic Stakeholder & Logistics Synergy: Serve as the vital link between Formula E’s global headquarters and Austin’s local service providers; immerse in venue logistics, hospitality fit-out agencies, and ticketing platforms; collaborate with Global Account Managers to align every local activation with global partnership standards, delivering seamless experiences that build fans and partners for future seasons.

Requirements

  • The “Hunter” Sales Expert: Proven track record in B2B sales, hospitality, or commercial partnerships within sports, entertainment, or luxury sectors; relentless drive to close deals; existing network of high-level corporate contacts within Austin.
  • The Cultural Navigator: Mastery of US business etiquette with native or business-level fluency in English; cultural intelligence to maintain Formula E’s global prestige while tailoring proposals and activations to the Austin market.
  • The Operational Strategist: Agility to switch between high-level commercial negotiation and hands-on operational problem-solving; experience managing third-party agencies and navigating logistical pressures of large-scale international events.
  • The Resilient Entrepreneur: Treat the US market as your own business; thrive in high-pressure race-week countdowns; persuasive communicator able to articulate the future of motorsport; self-motivated, highly organized, ready to take full ownership of the Austin E-Prix’s commercial success.
