About the role
Pinnacle Method Consulting is seeking an IT Senior Business Analyst Resource to join our team. This role works with the Project Manager on large-scale enterprise technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
- Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
- Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Create workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
- Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories.
- Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
- Liaison between various business departments and groups.
- Communicate findings, and recommendations, to project manager for updates to stakeholders and executives.
- Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
- Assist with project management as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field.
- 5+ years of business analyst experience or related role.
- 5+ years of knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- 5+ years of strong experience leading, facilitating, and motivating teams for medium to large scale IT projects.
- 5+ years of strong understanding and experience working with stakeholders in achieving their goals.
- 5+ years of strong background in facilitating/leading requirement gathering sessions.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the creation of User Stories.
- 5+ years of strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
- 5+ years of strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
- 5+ years of demonstrated understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), preferably in a Hybrid Agile environment.
- 5+ years of advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills.
- 5+ years of ability to develop productive working relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate with people across the organization.
- 5+ years of ability to manage projects to successful conclusion.
- High degree of independence, intuition, and initiative.
- 5+ years of ability to maintain composure and control when things do not proceed as planned.
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting of functional and basic technical components.
- Strong understanding of healthcare enterprise systems (highly desired).
