In-House Healthcare Regulatory Attorney

About the role

Latitude is working with a healthcare organization to add an experienced In-House Healthcare Regulatory Counsel. This role will serve as a key legal advisor to operational leadership and cross-functional teams, providing strategic and practical guidance on healthcare regulatory matters and licensing.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 4+ years of legal experience, with an emphasis on healthcare regulations
• Demonstrated experience with licensing (change of owner licensing experience is a plus)
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, with a strong understanding of PHI handling, data privacy, and security considerations
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible for in-house exemption)
• Outstanding professional references

Preferred Qualifications

• CHOW licensing experience

• Location: Hybrid (Brentwood, TN)

Pay

The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000 to $200,000. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
