We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney with strong BigLaw or top healthcare law firm experience to support healthcare regulatory, compliance, and legal analysis projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and annotate legal documents related to healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Analyze complex healthcare policies, statutes, and regulations.
- Apply knowledge of HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute to legal and compliance scenarios.
- Review and refine contract language to ensure compliance with applicable U.S. healthcare laws.
- Identify potential regulatory and legal risks and provide detailed written analysis.
- Provide expert commentary and nuanced legal interpretations on healthcare regulatory matters.
- Conduct legal research and analyze healthcare policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate remotely with project stakeholders to clarify legal concepts and requirements.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail when reviewing legal content.
- Work independently while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active U.S. bar admission.
- Substantial healthcare law experience at a major U.S. law firm (BigLaw) or top healthcare-focused law firm.
- Strong expertise in U.S. healthcare regulatory and compliance law.
- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- HIPAA
- Stark Law
- Anti-Kickback Statute
- Experience reviewing and drafting complex healthcare-related legal documents and contracts.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Experience advising clients on healthcare regulatory or compliance matters.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience advising hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, health plans, or other healthcare organizations.
- Experience with healthcare transactions and regulatory due diligence.
- Experience preparing legal memoranda, regulatory analyses, compliance assessments, or client advisories.
- Experience working with complex healthcare contracts and policies.
- Experience with legal content review, annotation, or structured legal analysis.
Candidates from OFAC-restricted locations are not eligible. U.S. legal expertise and active U.S. bar admission are required.
