Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts, including fill‑ins, work with new clients, and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the caregiver job duties listed below. Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with clients in any of their assigned branch service areas.

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Fill in as needed
• Train new caregivers
• Client intakes
• Available to work on short notice during assigned availability times with clients in any assigned branch service area

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to transport clients in your own vehicle
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs rarely
• One year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home setting
• Must own a smartphone capable of downloading and using a mobile app
• HCA or C.N.A. certification preferred but not required

Pay

$23.50 per hour plus paid training and mileage reimbursement.
