In Home Care Provider - The Dalles/Hood River

About the Role

We are looking for caregivers available for day shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Open to all levels of care experience—we provide training. High demand for caregivers in Hood River and The Dalles, with open weekend shifts for part-time work. Variety of short shifts available, which can be stacked for a fuller schedule. Bilingual caregivers (Spanish-speaking preferred) are especially needed.

This role serves clients in The Dalles, Hood River, Wasco, and surrounding areas. We will match you with clients based on your availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cook and/or serve meals
• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Drive clients to the store or appointments as needed
• Monitor and report on clients' condition

Required: Must be able to transport clients in a reliable vehicle, with a valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
• Must reside in Hood River or The Dalles for local clients

Required: Must be able to transport clients in a reliable vehicle, with a WA or OR driver’s license and active auto insurance.

Additional Information

Our hiring process is fast and simple. After applying, a recruiter will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you’ll attend orientation at your branch. Once onboarding, orientation, and training are complete, you can start working with clients.

If you haven’t completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you’ll need to finish it along with nurse-led medication training before working with clients. You will be paid for both trainings.
