About the role
We are looking for caregivers to join our team and help us care for clients in the Shelton area. Multiple morning shifts (9 am–12 pm) are available.
Responsibilities
- Household care: laundry, meal preparation, mopping
- Personal care: bathing/toileting assistance, dressing, shaving
- Wellness: companionship, conversation, stand-by assist
Specific duties vary by client.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- CPR certificate
- Food handler permit
- HCA or CNA credential preferred
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate demeanor
- Good time-management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
