About the role
Join a compassionate home healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN), providing skilled nursing care to adult patients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide and document skilled nursing care per care plans and physician orders.
- Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and implement appropriate interventions to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
- Develop, update, and coordinate nursing care plans while maintaining compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses in a timely manner.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practice state.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR certification; willingness to obtain if needed.
- Experience in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and repositioning patients.
- Ability to work in diverse environments with exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
