Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across San Jose, San Bruno, Mountain View, Fremont, San Mateo, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, and Warm Springs, California. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine without a waiting room, double-booked schedules, or corporate production metrics—just you, a loving family, and the time to provide care the right way.
We are a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led veterinary practice that does not use non-compete contracts. Your career remains yours, free from restrictive clauses.

Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets
- Work independently in a mobile environment
- Maintain professional communication with families and the team
- Exude compassion, dignity, and respect in all interactions
- Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Availability for rotational weekend shifts
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
- Valid driver’s license
