Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across San Jose, San Bruno, Mountain View, Fremont, San Mateo, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, and Warm Springs, California. Practice medicine without a waiting room, double-booked schedules, or corporate production dashboards—just you, a loving family, and the time to do it right. We are a privately held, family-owned, and doctor-led veterinary practice that does not use non-compete contracts.
About the Role

If you’ve ever finished a euthanasia appointment and thought, "That was the most meaningful thing I did all week—I wish I’d had another twenty minutes," this role is for you. Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets
- Work independently in a mobile environment
- Maintain professional communication with team members and families
- Exude compassion, dignity, and respect in all interactions
- Participate in rotational weekend availability
- Lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
- Valid driver’s license
