In Home ABA Behavior Technician

Responsibilities

  • Empower children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families to reach their full potential - helping them grow, learn and reach milestones
  • Measure each client’s progress and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans by collecting and evaluating data
  • Provide ABA services in a clinical and/or in-home setting
  • Collaborate with BCBA’s and peers to overview clients progress and implement new programs based on milestones reached
  • Implement programs created by BCBA with fidelity, compassion and quality
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Meet monthly virtually for professional development and training

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children on the spectrum and seeing their progress and growth
  • Adaptable and ability to work and build rapport with children/individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Commitment to working flexible part-time after-school/evening schedules (Preferred)
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other Behavioral/Developmental deficits
  • Able to work collaboratively with a team of professionals and parents to help children succeed in their goals and development

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
