Why This Role Matters
The Annuity Non-Financial Processor performs foundational tasks related to servicing inforce annuity contracts. Responsibilities include executing standard non-financial transactions, updating client records, and supporting daily operations within defined procedures. This role requires accuracy, a solid understanding of the product, and strong adherence to compliance protocols.
Responsibilities
- Accurately provide information to all incoming inquiries regarding annuities, associated paperwork, tax implications, product information, procedures, and regulations
- Review claim requests and generate claim packages within established service level agreements
- Absorb and manage claims activities to ensure payouts are adjudicated accurately and efficiently
- Ensure detailed electronic records are maintained by accurately documenting all actions taken
- Learns, retains, and updates knowledge of a wide variety of financial product information and internal processes and procedures, while adhering to strict financial industry rules and regulations
- Efficiently utilizes all resources to ensure they are easily accessible when providing information to a client, or supporting a teammate, or manager
- Takes ownership of customer requests through to completion and notifies appropriate personnel if problems exist
- Displays a positive attitude while adapting and being receptive to change
- Takes initiative in learning more by asking questions; investigating error sources to avoid future mistakes; making the best use of time between calls

What We're Looking For
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3 or more years of operational or processing experience, annuity experience preferred
- Strong commitment to customer service and quality
- Proven decision-making skills and ability to multi-task
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience required
