Part-Time Processor
About the role
Our retail store provides the fuel, the face, and the gateway to all the awesome services we provide for individuals, families, and organizations in the communities we serve. As a Processor, you're responsible for functioning with a high level of attention to detail to maintain the standard of quality for donations. You will use decisive measurements to determine next steps for items under review within production time constraints while exhibiting customer commitment and personal effectiveness.
This is a part-time position averaging 20–25 hours per week. Hours fluctuate based on business needs (e.g., seasonal changes, donation volumes). You must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Process and sort donated goods in a rapid but accurate manner.
- Stock store shelves in a neat and orderly manner.
- Rotate merchandise on a color-coded system.
- Identify quality donations.
- Ensure donations are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Achieve production goals and outcomes based on quality and quantity of donations.
- Work other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
- Cross-train and learn all areas of the retail operation.
Requirements
- Average math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment (preferred).
- Warehouse experience (preferred).
