Part-time Processor

About the role

As a Processor in our retail store, you're responsible for working with a high level of attention to detail to maintain the quality standards for donations. You will use decisive measurements to determine next steps for items under review within the time constraints for production requirements, while exhibiting customer commitment and personal effectiveness. This role connects you to something bigger—helping shape the community by supporting individuals, families, and organizations with essential services.

Responsibilities

• Process and sort donated goods quickly and accurately.
• Stock store shelves in a neat and orderly manner.
• Rotate merchandise using a color-coded system.
• Identify quality donations and ensure they are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor on time.
• Achieve production goals based on the quality and quantity of donations.
• Work in other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
• Cross-train and learn all areas of the retail operation.

Requirements

• Average math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Prior experience in retail or customer service (preferred).
• Warehouse experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

Schedule

• Part-time: 20–30 hours per week.
• Full-time: 32–40 hours per week.
• Hours fluctuate based on business needs (e.g., seasonal changes, donation volumes).
• Must be available to work any shift Monday through Sunday.
• Operating days vary by store location.

Pay

Starting pay rate of $13.00 per hour.
