Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in import management or a related role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of CBP regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with other government agencies such as the FDA, USDA, and EPA.
- Proven experience in freight forwarding and managing relationships with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using import-related software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle customs audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Proven ability to develop and implement import strategies and procedures.
- Ability to stay updated with changes in import laws and regulations and communicate the same to the team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
