Implementation Engineer _ Telecommunications Engineer - III

On average 3 days in the office each week. Randstad Digital is looking to hire an Implementation/Telecommunications Engineer for a telecommunications customer in the Mentor, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed Location-specific Equipment Engineering, including developing all specifications required for installation forces to properly install, turn up, inventory, and configure the equipment.
• Obtain appropriate management approvals, issue purchase orders, and ensure vendor delivery.
• Act as an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to update the organization’s databases and related applications for functional and efficient operation.
• Build automated reports using Google Apps (Google Docs and Forms) and Tableau.
• Create and modify Google Docs, and customize the user interface with new menus, dialog boxes, and sidebars.
• Ensure work meets all applicable engineering, financial, planning, and operational standards.
• Manage, input, and update IFP, XNG, and SPM to reflect new builds, adds, and decommissions.
• Document network elements (technical facility, location, bay/shelf, alarm points, etc.) with necessary identifiers.
• Engineer floor space, rack space, and hardware labeling for all equipment in locations.
• Engineer placement and cable measurements, power/fuse/breaker assignments, and equipment cooling/airflow.
• Create workflows in required systems and communicate issues to lead engineers.
• Work with regions to resolve issues and recommend process changes for national impact.
• Work daily in the following engineering systems: UUI/CoFEE, ICON, CCP, VPNS, ACTP, Venue, and FUZE.

Requirements

• Experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) to update databases and related applications.
• Experience with Google Apps, including building automated reports in Google Docs and Forms, and customizing the user interface.
• Experience with Tableau for building automated reports.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Pay

$66.66 - $76.66 per hour
