Implementation Engineer

Role Overview

Responsible for conducting site surveys, designing network solutions, and creating technical documentation for voice, data, security, and audio-visual systems. Collaborates with IT, facilities, clients, vendors, and project teams to analyze requirements, develop system designs, and produce implementation plans supporting both on-premises and cloud environments. Manages network device production, architecture design, and documentation to ensure seamless deployment of global network solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years supporting DoD enterprise networks
• 3+ years working with commercial hardware, networks, and cloud platforms
• Experience with network discovery, documentation, security protocols, routing, and switching (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
• Strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail skills
• Secret clearance and DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification

Preferred Experience

• Networking technologies, vendor solutions (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
• Cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Structured cabling
