Immigration Associate - Pittsburgh, Detroit, Austin, Collin County, or Atlanta
About the Role
Clark Hill PLC is seeking an associate attorney with 3 - 5 years of experience for its Immigration business unit in Pittsburgh, Detroit, Austin, Collin County, or Atlanta office. Ideal candidates will have employment-based immigration experience, including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, and TNs, along with a willingness to work on all types of immigration matters.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal and strategic point of contact for assigned corporate clients
- Communicate case strategies, timelines, and government requirements
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and immigration program reviews
- Review employment-based immigration petitions and applications prepared by paralegals, including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, TNs, and others
- Draft legal support letters and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)
- Lead regular client status calls, planning discussions, and escalations
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of employment-based immigration experience
- Experience with H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, and TNs
- PERM experience is required
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
- High-level attention to detail
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience advising clients directly on a multitude of immigration matters
- Ability to assist clients with the preparation of petitions and applications for submission to the USCIS
Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
