Immigration Associate - Pittsburgh, Detroit, Austin, Collin County, or Atlanta
About the role
Clark Hill PLC is seeking an associate attorney with 3–5 years of experience for its Immigration business unit in Pittsburgh, Detroit, Austin, Collin County, or Atlanta.
Ideal candidates will have employment-based immigration experience including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, and TNs, along with a willingness to work on all types of immigration matters. Qualified candidates should also have experience advising clients directly on a multitude of immigration matters and should be able to assist clients with the preparation of petitions and applications for submission to the USCIS. PERM experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal and strategic point of contact for assigned corporate clients
- Communicate case strategies, timelines, and government requirements
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and immigration program reviews
- Review employment-based immigration petitions and applications prepared by paralegals including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, TNs, and others
- Draft legal support letters and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)
- Lead regular client status calls, planning discussions, and escalations
Requirements
- 3–5 years of employment-based immigration experience
- PERM experience required
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills
- High-level attention to detail
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $140,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
