About the role

Clark Hill is seeking an Associate to join our Immigration business unit in Pittsburgh, PA or Washington, DC. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in business immigration and be interested in learning corporate compliance. Candidates must also have an active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction).

Responsibilities

  • Employment-based immigration experience including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, O-1s, L-1s and TNs
  • Able to assist clients with the preparation of petitions and applications for submission to the USCIS, CBP, and DOS
  • Monitoring changes in immigration laws, regulations, and enforcement trends
  • Assessing and communicating the impact of regulatory developments on organizational risk
  • Drafting and updating immigration related policies, guidance, and training materials
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to HR, Talent, Compliance, and business leaders on immigration compliance matters
  • Translating complex legal requirements into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders

Requirements

This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely two days per week.

Qualifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
  • Experience advising clients directly on a multitude of immigration matters
  • Experience drafting and updating immigration related policies, guidance, and training materials
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to HR, Talent, Compliance, and business leaders on immigration compliance matters
  • Experience translating complex legal requirements into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders

Skills

  • Experience with employment-based immigration including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, O-1s, L-1s and TNs
  • Ability to advise clients on a variety of immigration matters
  • Experience monitoring and understanding changes in immigration laws, regulations, and enforcement trends

Pay

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $100,000 - $115,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely two days per week.
