Imaging Technologic - Full Time

About the role

The Diagnostic Radiographer will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Imaging Services Department at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. The Position: 1.0 FTE 80 hours per pay period.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Imaging Services Department at Mitchell County Regional Health Center.
• Must possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Permit to Practice in Radiology.
• Must be flexible for the staffing of all shifts, weekends, holidays, and call duties.
• Must provide proof of Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider) prior to employment and continue to maintain current certification in BLS.
• Complete Mandatory Reporting requirement within 90 days of hire.
• Renew Mandatory Reporting requirements every 5 years.

Requirements

• Education: Shall be credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible.
• No experience is required.
• Special Skills, Competencies, and Aptitudes: Must possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Permit to Practice in Radiology.
• Must be flexible for the staffing of all shifts, weekends, holidays, and call duties.
• Must provide proof of Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider) prior to employment and continue to maintain current certification in BLS.

Pay

Pay: Starts at $30.00, increases with experience.

Schedule

Shift: Sunday-Saturday, Weekends, and Holidays. All shifts - required experience in General X-Ray, CT, Mammo - would also include rotation of call hours.
