About the role
This position involves providing high-quality radiology services in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare radiology rooms for procedures.
- Develop images and operate equipment safely.
- Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with patients across all age groups, providing education and support.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and monitor patient conditions.
- Respond to contrast reactions and other emergencies.
- Assist in training new staff and support operational policies.
- Coordinate workflow and collaborate with team members.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, safety protocols, and infection control.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in team settings.
- Preferred: 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience.
