Radiologic Technologist - Full-Time

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology, routine equipment maintenance and medical terminology
• Normal patient care environment with little discomfort due to temperature, noise and dust
• Occasional exposure to infectious disease when working with patients
• Working Conditions generally good with occasional exposure to radiation

Requirements

• Licensed and registered with the State of Illinois
• Minimum 1 year of experience with radiographic and processing equipment
• Analytical ability needed to determine best method of providing requested radiographs based on individual cases
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress
• Ability to transfer and position patients, consistent with lifting up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal AMA approved school in Radiologic Technology

• Pay Range: $25.15 per hour - $42.99 per hour
