About the role

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join our Diagnostic Imaging leadership team as an Imaging Services Manager. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel. You will manage operational functions including customer satisfaction, administrative responsibilities, information systems, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical performance, and all patient care within radiology imaging.

This position involves ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiencies and effectiveness of services. You will serve as a liaison between the department and physicians, nurses, and other organizational departments.

This is a fully onsite role at Morgan Hospital, Monday through Friday during day shift.

Key Relationships

  • Reports to: Interim Imaging Services Director
  • Direct Reports: 16-20 team members
  • Key Relationships: Emergency Department, Regional Leadership Team

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel.
  • Manage operational functions including customer satisfaction, administrative responsibilities, information systems, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and clinical performance.
  • Oversee all patient care within radiology imaging.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and develop methods to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of services.
  • Serve as a liaison between the department and physicians, nurses, and other organizational departments.

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Active status through one of the following certifications, as required per specific modality:
    • American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT)
    • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
    • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
    • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
    • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • May require additional certifications dependent on department needs.
  • May require a license from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Imaging Services, Cardiovascular testing, or related experience in a healthcare institution.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience required.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws relative to the assigned area.
