Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day operations of various areas of Imaging including off-site locations.
- Includes staffing, scheduling, monitoring staff performance, providing staff education, and implementing and directing Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities for the department.
- Participates in department budget preparation and management.
- Acts as a liaison between customers, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital.
- Able to provide complex nursing care, which includes the monitoring and administering of medications required during procedures.
- Performs related record-keeping and patient care functions and serves as patient advocate.
- Ensures proper education and training to staff and patients.
- Provides supervisory skills consistent with creativity, attention to detail, and consistent follow through.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
- Work Experience: 5 years nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting, with a critical care background and previous nursing supervisory experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure, Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License, BCLS - Basic Life Support, ACLS.
