Position Summary
Lead with Purpose. Care with Compassion. Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the DON and ADON in managing and overseeing nursing department operations
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations and policies
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance
- Absorb and communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families regarding care needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on resident care planning and updates
- Assist with staffing coordination to ensure optimal coverage and quality care
- Participate in surveys, audits, and quality assurance initiatives
- Oversee documentation, charting accuracy, and MDS completion
- Respond to incidents, concerns, and grievances with professionalism and urgency
- Absorb and communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families regarding care needs
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and ensuring room readiness
- Monitor resident conditions and provide timely clinical interventions when needed
- Absorb and respond to narcotic counts, emergency equipment checks, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- At least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative or restorative nursing
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
