RN Supervisor

About the role

We're seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse who wants to lead and supervise others rather than provide continuous daily hands-on care. This role offers a balance between clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Focus on care planning and ensuring clients receive top-notch care in their homes.
• Supervise and support caregivers, implementing and monitoring individualized care plans.
• Create patient Plan of Care per Physician’s orders and ensure compliance.
• Implement nursing support in home settings.
• Review nursing documentation to ensure compliance with Physician’s orders.
• Review MARs, verbal orders, and medication profiles to match Physician’s orders.
• Follow policies and procedures according to operations, state, and regulatory standards.
• Complete supervisory visits based on compliance and regulations, including review of plan of care, caregiver competency assessment, and required documentation.
• Train caregivers and nurses as required.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and other meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• No less than 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a related management/supervisory role.
• Current or multi-state license in compliance with state regulations.
• CPR professional certification.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, both internal and external to the company.
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information.

USD $32.00 - $35.00 / Hour
