Imaging RN - Neuro Expansion

About the role

The RN provides professional nursing care to patients receiving diagnostic or therapeutic services across various healthcare settings. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring safety, comfort, and support throughout the patient's treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in various healthcare settings.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• One year of recent experience as an RN
• Offset: Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department may substitute for required RN experience

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program)
• Preferred qualifications: Two years of recent RN experience, Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Additional qualifications: One year of critical care experience in a hospital setting preferred, Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) certification is preferred within three years of hire

Strong critical thinking skills, ability to work under stressful conditions, and ability to cover other nursing roles in the department.

Pay Range Minimum hourly: $35.50 Maximum hourly: $55.60

Schedule

3x12s| 6:30 am - 7:00 pm| weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation
