About the role

This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. In this role, RNs will work within 36 pre/post bays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off.
  • Interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
  • Educate patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Skills

A caregiver in this role will work nights from 7:00pm to 7:30am.

Pay

Minimum hourly: $35.50 Maximum hourly: $55.60
