Imaging Patient Care Specialist
About the Role
Join our Saint Alphonsus team as an Imaging Patient Care Specialist. This role will perform as our pre-procedural coordinator and support the front desk within the Medical Imaging department.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to imaging modalities performing procedures by coordinating schedules, ensuring prep and recovery requirements are met, and reviewing cases with nurses, APPs, and Interventional Radiologists.
- Provides patient reception at the check-in desk, notifies teams of patient arrivals, keeps patients informed of delays, and maintains a healing and supportive environment.
- Assists with new staff training, auditing, gathering statistics, ordering materials, and scheduling.
- Serves as a mentor and role model for new staff, reflecting a positive attitude towards company policies.
Requirements
- Two years of relevant experience required.
- One year of experience as a trainer required.
- Experience in registration, data input accuracy, and reporting of functionality.
