About the Role

Join our Saint Alphonsus team as an Imaging Patient Care Specialist. This role serves as the pre-procedural coordinator and supports the front desk, ensuring smooth operations within the Medical Imaging department.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates schedules, ensures prep and recovery requirements are met, and reviews cases with nurses, APP’s, and Interventional Radiologists for imaging modalities performing procedures.
  • Provides patient reception at the check-in desk by notifying teams of patient arrivals, keeping patients informed of delays, and creating a healing and supportive environment.
  • Assists with new staff training, auditing, gathering statistics, ordering materials, and scheduling.
  • Serves as a mentor and role model for new staff, reflecting a positive attitude toward all company policies.

Requirements

  • Two years of relevant experience required.
  • One year of experience as a trainer required.
  • Experience in registration, data input accuracy, and reporting of functionality.
